Denture

The denture is the part of dentistry which deals mainly to replace missing teeth .

The first dental prosthesis known date 2600 years; it is an Etruscan invention. It replaced by three upper incisor tooth cow resized vertical line and marked to simulate natural teeth , attached to adjacent teeth ( incisor remaining , canines and premolars and ) by a wire or1 .

The prosthetic act will rebuild decaying teeth too (due to decay or fracture) with crowns, metal or ceramic. It also allows you to replace missing teeth, either by a fixed medium (bridge) or removable appliances called metal chassis or partial dentures.

The dentist works in conjunction with a dental technician. It works in a laboratory, with a very specific hardware.

Prosthesis does not replace like a rigorous oral hygiene. The teeth, whether or crowned, can carier at the junction between the prosthesis and the natural tooth. Teeth and the supporting brackets (for dentures) are also vulnerable (caries) the lack of daily dental hygiene.
